About the Blog

This is a quest to understand where, why and how money is going from place to place, whether it be the American housing market or the fishing industry in Hong Kong. It is an attempt to learn about what credit default swaps do, and how schools in third-world countries are financed. It is the desire to realize what industries might drive economies next year, and which ideas might develop new financial technologies.

More importantly, this is a quest to become more curious of the world around me.

About the Author

I graduated with a B.A. in economics and history. Outside of studying population ageing race politics, I am a tech enthusiast and aspiring writer. Sometimes, I like to practice squash - the sport, not the vegetable.

More importantly, I can never pass up a good slice of cheesecake.
